Description: Weighing in at only 282g for the rear and 150g for the front, Chris King Universal Disc hubs are not your standard issue, boat anchor, downhill gear. | | With our standard 19.5mm axle, our proven bearings, and the patented RingDrive engagement mechanism, these hubs provide the performance demanded of cross-country racing. | | Heavy duty option: For those riders who want the additional stiffness and holding power of a bolt on axle - the rear Universal hub is now available with a bolt on axle and stainless steel driveshell. The bolt on axle allows the use of either the FunBolts? or the QR adapters for maximum versatility. | | By using adaptors designed to work with most current disc brake systems, the Chris King Disc hubs are the most versatile you can buy.

The Review
This is my first time using this pair of beautifully machined hubs and I swear by it. The engagement is just so beautiful you can never find on other hubs. This is a one time investment. Once you try this hub you will never get used to the other hubs. This pair of hubs can be used for disc (just buy an adaptor) and non-disc. Cons : It is dam bloody expensive......:D
