With more concerted plans to expand their market share in both Europe and Asia for the 2013 season, Polygon had two big scale product launches: firstly, at Eurobike 2012 in August which the editorial team had the privilege to visitand more recently, the Asean New Product Presentation held on 10-11 October in Pattaya, Thailand.

The product presentation was held at Hilton Pattaya Hotel located on the east coast of the gulf of Thailand, about 165km southeast of Bangkok. More than 100 guests from 50 shops from Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore all gathered to witness the new 2013 Polygon bicycles that will soon be available in the region after the launch.

During the event, Polygon International Marketing Manager, Yustian Nimara, presented the whole 2013 range models including the latest technology on road and MTB technologies. There were also more than 30 new Polygon models on display at the bicycle showroom where dealers gathered to view the actual bikes and make pre-orders.

Some of the models included the  Cozmic CX2.0 Cross Country bike, Collosus DHX Downhill bike (see gallery), Collosus AX3.0 All-Mountain bike and Helios A5.0 alloy road bike (see gallery). In addition, to expand its already wide range of products, Polygon is introducing new segments such as Aero Road and Endurance Road to replace its general Road Racing category, the 29er inch mountain bike available in both carbon and alloy frames, SUB (Speed Utility Bike) commuting bike equipped with Gates carbon belt drive for easy maintenance, Classic and Modern city bike (Sierra Deluxe and Zenith series) with its top model equipped with e-battery (e-bike) and last but not least, its 140mm Trail hardtail Cozmic TX series.
