" A good alternative to original XTR Chainrings "

The Review
The original XTR chainrings are not very durable and tend to wear out or get bent relatively easily. The middleburn chainrings are an ideal replacement and are pretty lightweight.

So far, they work great and I put about 500km+++ on them.

My only complain is that shifting from the middle to the large chainring seems not as fast and smooth as when I was using the original XTR chainring. I guess its because the XTR ones have this 'gear' shaped pin which helps to push the chain up while shifting and the middleburn ones have only a pin.

Strengths
- Strong
- Stiff
- Light
- I still have not bent them.... yet :)

Weaknesses
- Single shifter pin makes shifter a little more hesistant than the original XTR
